Upload rules

Here is a simple explanation of the upload rules from the Terms of Service below:

• Do not upload images featuring adult content such as porn or excessive nudity.
  If it isn't suitable for children to view, do not upload it.
  
  
• Do not upload copyrighted files. This includes CD/DVD covers.
  We reserve the right to delete images if we believe they're being used for illegal warez/P2P purposes.
  
  
• Do not upload images depicting gruesome scenes such as dead people or mutilations.
  "I see dead people" worked for The Sixth Sense, but not for us.
  
  
• You're not allowed to use this service to offload bandwidth usage from your popular website.
  Owners and administrators of very popular and/or commercially exploited websites (with ads) are not allowed to use this service to offload bandwidth usage by storing frequently accessed images on ImageHost.org.

If you upload files which violate these rules ImageHost.org reserves the right to delete all your uploaded files (including files which did not violate these rules).

Terms of Service

• ImageHost.org reserves the right to disable or delete any file which might compromise the security of our servers, uses excessive bandwidth, violates this TOS or is otherwise considered undesirable (at our sole discretion).
  
  
• The free file hosting service is provided as-is with no implied warranties of any kind. ImageHost.org can not be held responsible for the loss of data or other damages which may result from (lack of) functionality of our service.
  
  
• ImageHost.org does not allow the following types of files to be uploaded:
  • Files which contain adult content such as pornography or excessive nudity.
  • Files which contain gruesome scenes, such as dead people or mutilations.
  • Files which violate the privacy of the individuals depicted are not allowed.
  • Files which violate copyrights or patents are not allowed.
  • Files which contain spyware, malware, trojans or viruses are not allowed.
  • Files which contain software for committing illegal acts (like hacking) are not allowed.
  • Files which otherwise violate any international law are not allowed.
  Please note that it is impossible for ImageHost.org staff to actively check every file being uploaded.
  
  
• Files will not be deleted unless they have not been accessed for some time. Files smaller than 10 MB will be deleted after 180 days of inactivity. Files larger than 10 MB will be deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
  
  
• ImageHost.org reserves the right to deny access to any user who uploads files that compromise the security of our servers, use excessive bandwidth or are otherwise deemed to be misusing the free file hosting service.
  
  
• ImageHost.org reserves the right to deny hotlinking privileges from websites whose users are found to be frequently misusing the free file hosting service.
  
  
• Privacy Statement: to combat abuse of our service, ImageHost.org uses cookies and stores the IP of anyone who uploads a file to our service. If you do not wish this to happen, do not use our service. Please note that IP addresses (etc) are only used to combat abuse and are not sold or given away to anyone.
  
  
• If you find any file which violates our Terms of Service, please send an email with the exact URL to the offending files or images to abuse@imagehost.org.
  
  
• ImageHost.org reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notification.
